あえてエリザベス女王杯でなく福島記念で勝負する。出馬表を見た瞬間にグラスボンバーとカナハラドラゴンの2頭はともに3着以内は外さないように見えたんだよね。
あらためて吟味してもそれが揺らがなかったので、この2頭の馬連と、2頭軸の3連複をトウカイトリック、ラヴァリージェニオ、ブルートルネード、ワンモアチャッター、セフティーエンペラの5点で勝負。いずれも1000円づつで計6000円です。
直線半ばで早くも1着グラスボンバー、2着トウカイトリックの体勢はほぼ決したので、あとはいかにもギリギリ3着に差しそうな雰囲気で4角まくりに出たカナハラドラゴンの応援。ところが追い出したら案外で残念ながら3着にはハナ、クビ差の5着止まり。4角15番手から押し上げているとはいえ、正直3着は楽にあったと思うんだけどなぁ。あれでも仕掛けが早いのかも。
カナハラが3着に入ってくれていれば、3番人気ー7番人気ー9番人気での決着になるので、3連複は相当な配当になってたはずなんだけどなぁ。
で、JRAホームページによると3連複3-5-15は284.8倍が最終オッズだったらしい。これを1000円だから28万4800円かぁ。悔しいなぁ・・・
エリザベス女王杯をケンしたのは本命はアドマイヤグルーヴで、エアメサイアを外すことは決めていたんだけど、相手が絞りきれなかったから。結果はグルーヴが3着なので買わなくて正解かな。
それにしても、さほど早くないペースで逃げているオースミハルカが大逃げの形になったり、牡馬混合G1をも勝っているスイープトウショウが内々でスムーズな競馬ができていたりと、ちょっとレースが生ぬる過ぎる。G1なんだからもうちょっと厳しいレースを見せてくれないとなぁ・・・
